How To Fix and Reduce The Minecraft Lag


If you do not know about Minecraft, you soon will. It is taking the internet by storm, and that is no exaggeration. Minecraft is an open world game where you hunt, discover, make, and survive! Inside Minecraft go to Options

Then click on Video Settings

1. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Delete)

2. Under the Processes tab find ' Javaw.exe '

3. Right click on Javaw.exe hover to Set Priority and click on High

Processor affinity is a modification of the native central queue scheduling algorithm in a symmetric multiprocessing operating system. You need to set the Process Affinity as follows to fix Minecraft lagging problem.

1. Open the game.

2. Minimize it temporarily.

3. Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete.

4. Select the option Start Task Manager.

5. Click Processes tab.

6. Right click JAVAW.EXE process and select Set Affinity.

7. Make sure that the only checkbox CPU 1 is checked and another, i.e. CPU 0 is unchecked.

8. Click OK button.

9. Close and restart the game.

Delete Browser History and Cache

Every web browser stores the information about the visited web sites, websites log-ins, form data and temporary files, as per its set-up. This leads slowing down your browser and thereby freezing down Minecraft game.
